The Old Square (Oude Market) is an oblong square next to the Big Square. The Old Square is mainly surrounded by bars and restaurants, and that’s why it’s also called ‘the longest bar of the world’. During the day, the square is a cosy place with many terraces. When the sun goes down, it transforms into the place to be for parties and drinks. Students from all over the country gather to have a beer and dance all night long.
